ARM7 |
|
ARM7 is one of the most popular architecture for new embedded design. It is a 32 bit RISC processor with a three stage pipeline and a uniform memory model. The core is capable of 130 MIPS but quite often SOC based on the ARM7TDMI are more in the 30-60 MIPS range.
With devices from a large number of manufacturer and supported by most tools vendors, the ARM7 core is a logical choice for a lot of new designs.
