identifying atmel chip

by freeze, posted on January 17, 2008

hello,

i recently got an atmel micro-controller. i downloaded its datasheet from the internet...to my horror i found out that the pin configuration of each of the controller change with their package specifications. so i scanned my controller to find package number which was unsuccessful. the controller is 40 pin.

the bullshit printed on my micro-controller is:

on the top side: at89c51ed2 -im 0631-6f5912

at the bottom side: PH G6F5912

can somebody pls help me out identify which damn package is this n where could i find its pin configurations and its datasheet

PLEASE HELP ME ...

I am looking o buy several of those microcontrollers. I am interested in the 40 pin DIP package of AT89C51ED2-3CSIM / AT89C51ED2-3CSUM.

Can anyone tell me where I can find them ? I haev tried DigiKey, Mouser, JDR, Jameco, etc etc etc.

Thanks !

This part is made for compatibility with the original 8051. If your package is a 40 pin DIP then the pinout must be the same as almost all the other 8051. Take a look at this http://www.atmel.com/atmel/acrobat/doc0265.pdf

I think I have found it http://www.futurlec.com/Atmel/AT89C51ED2-3CSIMpr.shtml

If this does'nt work try with part brokers.
