The LM3886 is an integrated power amplifier from National Semiconductor capable of 50W in 8 ohm and 68W in 4 ohm.
Main characteristic are:
- Low distortion
- High power for an integrated circuit
- Few parts are needed to build a hi-fi power amplifier
- Lots of kit available for the diy
This chip is use in a great number of design called 'gain clone' in reference to the gain card, an high end amplifier.
